Two days since I’ve quit smoking.
That means my heart rate and blood pressure have dropped to normal, the carbon monoxide levels in my body have returned to normal, and my damaged nerve endings have started to regrow.
So far I have had little desire to smoke.
I hold a small pen between my fingers while driving to and from work to distract from the fact that I’m not smoking.
